9 essential holiday items for your Holiday packing

I’m BACK..

I have been travelling a lot over the last three months. Every destination I have been there are always essential holiday items that I need to bring on every trip.

When travelling on my first holiday with my friends and not my family, I realise that I need to get all the essential down first. This was to make sure that I was organised as I would have no one to tell ‘do this, did you forget that’, something my mother always tell me when we go on holiday together.

Whether you’re travelling only for a weekend away, a vacation overseas it’s the best to make sure you have everything together and remember what exactly you should take and what you will need.

When you’re travelling as female essential holiday items:

  • Large bag to travel with..

This is definitely for when you go on a beach…. To put all you little beach necessities make sure to take those with you to ensure your prepared for anything.

  • Basic holiday necessities like – Passport, Phone. Etc – MAIN ESSENTIAL HOLIDAY ITEMS

All of the basic holiday essentials, without it you won’t be able to contact people in an emergency, you won’t be able to get on your flight. As well as, your phone to use it for getting around on your holiday. Make sure you have your travel documents safely away in your hand luggage, have a copy before you travel in case things goes missing.

It’s good to have some sort of cash on you in local currency on your arrival. Just in case, there is an issue with the ATM, or there is no ATM at all on arrival.

  • Travel Adapter

I have done this lots of time, forgot my travel adapter. Sometimes you can get lucky with hotels as they may have a spare or even have English plugs inside the hotel.

  • Phone charger  – good Essential Holiday

Another item that gets forgotten often; this really isn’t one that is a hard find. You can purchase this on arrival to destination.

  • Power bank charger

Batteries always seem to die quickly when you are travelling, this is most likely due using your camera, GPS, and travel app. Having a portable power bank charge your phone, tablet, Camera and iPad while you’re walking and exploring where  you are travelling. A portable power bank can be a lifesaver.

  • Something warm

Even if your heading to a summer destination, make sure to carry warm clothes just in case because what if the airport is freezing so it would be a good idea to have something you can wrap up warm in.

  • Reusable Water bottle

Everybody needs water when travelling. Having a reusable water bottle as a travel item that essential to your travel can help you in many situations on beach day, exploring and sightseeing.

  • Comfortable Walking shoes

On vacation you may walk more than you think. So it’s best to bring shoes you know will be able to walk in and be comfortable in.  Like slip on sandals are the ones I feel most comfortable in, so every holiday I must have at least 2 pair of slip on sandal.

  • Toiletry bag with all the necessary thing in it

This is one thing every girl needs that may weigh down your luggage, but you know what it needed. Normally my toiletry bag includes:

  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Deodorant
  • Hairbrush (if needed)
  • Hair products
  • Concealer, contour
  • Razor
  • Mascara
  • Wash cloth
  • Highighter
  • Brown pencil

essential hoiiday items

For me, these are all the Holiday essentials I need when going on holiday. Obviously, everyone is different, and we all have different things that we may need on holiday. So make sure that you get organised and you are ready for that next trip of yours.
