I know many people are struggling with being unable to go outside; it can definitely be a troubling time and can affect your mental health is so many ways. Instead of focusing on the different restrictions that have been set out, start using this time to focus and get productive during such trying times.

Set out your day & create a structure of what to do
Firstly, you need to get on with your life, even if you’re stuck at home. By staying in your bed every day will not make your mood any better during this pandemic.
The best thing to do at such times is to make sure you put a schedule in place for the day. This includes:
- Getting up at reasonable hours when stuck at home – your beauty sleep is important.
- Make yourself breakfast, lunch, and dinner, stay healthy instead of snacking on fast food during the day
- Especially if you are working from home, make sure you stick to your working hours and don’t overextend yourself doing overtime work when you are at home. DON’T DO THAT TO YOURSELF.
Making sure you are sticking to a healthy schedule when at home. You. need to be productive and not overextend yourself.
Get ready even though you’re not leaving your house
Keep to your schedule, even if you’re at home. Even if that means you need to get ready to work just to be at home. This adds more normality in your working from home life during this time.
Just because you are stuck at home in quarantine, you need to keep yourself refreshed. Instead of you staying in your Pj, get comfortable in a comfy Loungewear set.
This is a good way to get you ready for your day and get you up doing something products.
Create a Workspace for you to get your Work done when stuck at home
Having a workspace at home, if you are working from home is so important. When you get to have nothing to do or you are just super-duper bored, It might be best to create workspace designated for you just to work at, just like you are in the office.
This is a good alternative, instead of sitting on your bed. The reason is that working in bed can make it hard for you to be able to switch off and sleep at night.
Create your To-do list for all the things you forget to do
All of us have a list of things we never get around to doing. This could be anything from decluttering your clothes, creating photo albums or even start your own business.
Everyone’s To-do list will be different, creating a to-do list can be a brilliant way to get productive. Its allows you to feel great even though you are stuck at home. Inspiring you to get your things done you never really get around to doing.

A great way to stay productive is to learn something new, through reading. What I have started to do lately is start reading self-help book to improve in areas I am struggling in my life.
I even learnt how to thread my own eyebrows through youtube. It’s great to learn new skills which can help you save money.
Do some type of Home-Workout
Getting healthy is a good thing if the gym is a regular thing for you, working out is something you need to do.
I have started using youtube to help me with my workouts, don’t give up on working out just because you are stuck at home during the quarantine.

It’s a good way to keep fit and keep moving and it will eventually make you feel better.
Spend your time cooking good healthy meals while stuck at home
Are you usually a person that eat-out a lot? If you are then this is a great time to change that, don’t you think?
Take the time you have now during Quarantine to start making the change and get into cooking. This is a good way for you to learn new recipes. Its is also good for spending quality time together as a family.
I would use youtube recipes to help you how to cook, Its a great time to learn how to do these things.
You staying home doesn’t mean you can start or maintain a healthy living.
Startup a business to have been pro-longing for so only while you’re stuck at home
Startup that business you have been prolonging for so long. This is the best time you can do it.
You have so much time on your hands, use this time wisely. Be Productive with it, learn something, start something improve on something you’re passionate about.
Do some DIY on your home
There is no doubt, you may have different things you need to work on at home. This is a good thing to do when you are super-duper bored. This could be anything, such as reorganising your room, Painting your door frame, build shelves.
These may all be small things but they are massive updates to improving your house and keep you in a happy mood, keeping your mind off what is going on in the world.
Master New Makeup tutorials
Even though you are at home, it doesn’t mean can’t practice your make up looks. Try new things start new makeup looks for when you are all ready to go out. You have time to practice before the quarantine is done.
